Laserschneidmaschinen
All couplings are manufactured using computergesteurter laser cutting machines. Fully automatic control of these machines takes place 24 hours a day. The production itself is monitored by Kamaras. This has led to a threefold increase in the production capacity of GDW. The plates are cut in Moeskroen and all parts are subsequently sent and welded to Waregem.
Sägen
The tubes are cut to fully automated and computer-controlled saws.
Biegemaschinen
Geschnitte parts and pipes are bent on the moon serious benders according to the calculations of our engineers. Thus, the clutch is a perfect fit and also to avoid tolerance differences, the accuracy of bending is checked by means of laser technology.
Schweißabteilung
Computergesteurte welding robots assure highly accurate welds, which are each time specifically designed for each model. The couplings are placed in a welding model and nacher welded by robots. Automatische CNC-gesteuerte Drehmaschinen.

Sandstrahlen und Phosphatierung
All couplings are first sandblasted and cleaned by phosphating before they are painted. This is to ensure the best quality paint.
Lackierungsstrasse

Verpackung
All couplings are packed in the house. Bolts and nuts are first packed in its own plastic bags. The are weighed to check all the contents and to be sure that all fasteners have been packed. These small plastic bags are packed again with the towbar, with a strong ausreckbaren plastic film, which is heated in a furnace to assume the shape of the coupling. In this way, the supply of all parts is assured.
Herstellung eigener Schweißmodelle
All welding models and prototypes are developed and manufactured in-house by the Department of Technology. To do this, we use CNC machines, whereupon some specific parts are also milled. All welding models are stored in the house for a long time, which allows us to produce even when requested by the customer couplings for old or vintage cars.
Prüfungsabteilung
Each new towbar a durability test exposed to the relentless test benches of GDW, which are in direct and digital communication with European classification institutions.
Lager
The most widely known service of GDW is amplified by a storage space of 5000 m². GDW has constantly more than 35,000 couplings in stock in Belgium, 20,000 in BOISNIER in France and 5,000 in Denmark, and more than 2000 different types.
